Decided to try out the Zorrik Talvar today. Was hoping that since the Super Platinum had been giving me great shaves, that the Talvar would as well.
I used it in my Ming Shi Futur Clone. The settings were a 2 for the WTG, 4 XTG, and 5 for the ATG. Used Stirling Black Ice for soap.
I did like how comfortable the shave was. I didn't notice the blade the way I do with others. Been having that experience with the Ming Shi with most Blades.
In the end, I didn't get the same results that I got with the Zorrik Super Platinum. It was a good DFS, but not as clean as the Super Platinum, which gave me BBS without a lot of work. Needed to work the Talvar to get a DFS.
I'll try it again with different settings, maybe it needs to be more aggressive. Also need to try it in other razors. It's a good first outing, but wouldn't go out & buy it just yet.
