I am in Houston I drove down to spend the weekend with the illustrious Brianw, Mr. Scruffy, and Jakespoppy. We had a great dinner last night. Why am i posting this in the Nib you ask? Well let me continue.

I had a few pens that needed a bit of nib work done. Brian brought his supplies to work on them for me. I had a couple of italics that were just to crisp for my taste. Brian did a great job fixing them up, but here is the problem. I had to do most of my writing and testing with fairly dry pens.

This is extremely disconcerting to me that the illustrious pen god Brian shows up in Houston with all of his tools ready to help me out and does not bring any ink. That is blasphemy.......the illustrious Brianw not having any ink. He must have 150 pens with him, but no ink.

I just wanted all of you to know that he may not be the god we all think he is.........no ink? C'mon.

But next time tell him you are bringing some noodlers BBB to test the pens with, and he will force some Skrip on you... it may just be clever enough to work

In my defense.... I had 10 1 oz vials of vintage Parker Quink, Watermans, and some Carters. I also had 2 2oz Skrip bottles. Somehow they all disappeared at dinner last night.
