My smoothest shaver is my Ti95DC and most efficient is the TiBB... They both get me 2 pass BBS shaves that last about 16-20hrs but on average the Blackbird lasts just a tad longer than the Timeless.
I'll second that. The iKon Tek is a little higher than the R41 on the efficiency scale, but you pay for it with smoothness.
I have the R plate it is great. Is the M plate as efficient as the R?I have only one razor, an Above the Tie Windsor. With the R plate is is incredibly smooth and quite efficient. With the M plate it is silly smooth and reasonably efficient.
I have the SB .68 in SS and TI so smooth. Thinking about the SB .95I have Timeless razors in steel, titanium, and bronze and they are all super smooth efficient razors.
I have the SB .68 is the .95 that much better?Easy, Timeless 95 OC loaded with a Rapira Platinum Lux blade. As smooth as comfy as the Rockwell 6s or Karve CB, with wonderful efficiency, yet difficult to nick/cut myself with.
Close but not quite. However, it is so smooth that a little buffing is no big deal.I have the R plate it is great. Is the M plate as efficient as the R?

I am interested, too !The only razor I’ve ever owned is the Above The Tie S1. So I’d be curious to hear from more experienced shavers who have used the S1 how it stacks up against other razors in terms of smoothness and efficiency.

and now that I have the Wolfman .95 I do say almost positive it has past my Timeless as the smoothest and efficientfor me at this moment Timeless 68 comb as my go to daily when not trying others
