I do like Rooney and support vendors who sell them, but that is ridiculous.
2 thumbs down smilies, as one isn't enough.
It's also sold "as is, Not returnable".

Vintage Pewter Rooney. Excellent condition best badger knot. Only shed one hair during cleaning. Love the weight of it.
The light box lights don't do this handle justice. They just make the black staining stand out more. Much less obvious in person.

I have a Rooney Beehive "2" in Best Badger and it is a shredder.

I have yet to see anything like a model chart for vintage Rooney brushes, before the Sabini era. Possibly they did not have formal names. But yours would fit right into the group portrait that melyus posted earlier in this thread.

Hmm. Read this whole thread hoping to find other examples of my one Rooney. Oh well, maybe you Rooney aficionados can help me date this brush. I can't believe I was the only bidder.
I've seen a few handles with flies in them, they were all customs.
It could be a re knot or a different brand brush in a Rooney box. I don't see Rooney on the brush anywhere and most of the old stickers I've seen, say Rooney on them.
Or it is a one of, but hard to tell without any paperwork accompanying it.

That is definitely a Rooney decal, but I've never seen another like it.
