Yes they do smoke well for the price. They don't seem to get much love around here though. I do not have any left from when I used to pipe it up several years ago but, they both were good smokers.

Agreed, they are great for the price. Perhaps the stigma is both Dr. Grabow and MM cobs are available at drugstores and the MM's smoke like a champ for 5.99, and the Grabow's are $20 and up and don't smoke much differently, just they look more appealing to some because they are briar.
 
I'm seeing some Dr. Grabows in this thread and have actually been wondering about them. I need an inexpensive briar but I don't like the looks of the basket pipes at my local B&M. Do those Grabows smoke well for the price?

I thought they smoked good as well, I just wasn't fond of the shapes I find them in most often. I won't knock them as a brand tho, that's for sure.
