Your input: A great cheap blade?

So...looking for input from all folks here, and I know different blades react differently to different people and razors, but :

What have you found to be a great cheap blade?

My candidates are the Astra SP and Personna Blues - both snagged online and very low cost as compared to Feathers or Kais...I think I got the Astras and Personnas for something like 9 cents a blade...used in Gillette Slim and EJDE89

Your turn: surprisingly good and cheap blades?

I have the Astras and a Merkur 180 long handle. They are really mild, IMO. I get a good shave, but not a great one with that combo. Seems like I'm adding a pressure to get a close shave. A little too mild for me. I'm looking at trying another blade with a bit more aggression. I have some Gillette 7 O'Clock blacks and they are more aggressive, but I'm trying to find something in between.

I find the Astra SP blade not all that aggressive. Super-Max Super Platinum is inexpenisve and a very sharp blade.

Personna Labs are around $0.12 ea. Hard to beat the bang for that buck.

Maybe include Voskhod and Rapira Platinums Lux too.

But I'd say of these, its hard to beat the Personna labs.

Other than the 2 blades mentioned by OP (Astra SP and Personna Lab), the best cheap blade in my book is the Super-Max Super Platinum.

Sharks. I have tried almost everything and these work just fine for me. At 9 cents a blade I don't mind tossing them after three days, but often get five or more.

I like the shark super chrome's, I also like the personna blues too

My Three favorites are Gillette Yellows, Feathers, and Med Preps. So I guess the Lab Blues are the closest. Although Voskhods have a pretty good price, too.

Labs are hard to beat when it comes to value for money. You may look into SuperMax, the Titaniums I got as a freeebie from Razor Blades and More weren't anything special, but the Platinums are pretty good as are the Super Stainless.
