Cheapest blades I own are Derby Premium, which I got for about $9/100 (canadian). But I haven't shaved with them yet.
Cheapest blades that perform well for me are either Gillette Platinum (dark blue), or Gillette Nacet, both of which I got 100 packs for $11 CAD.

Dorco ST-300, the new “HQ” version and blue box Derby extras. The former are ~$45/1000 and the latter ~$9/200 on eBay. They are both very good and inexpensive blades.
Easily Dorco Primes. It’s the cheapest blade available in Canada and is an excellent blade. $8.80CAD/100 (under $7USD).
I’ve had positive experiences with Gillette Wilkinson swords (India). ~ $6.50 / 100 on Amazon.

A couple of years ago (maybe longer), I got 200 SuperMax Blue Diamond Titanium off eBay for £6 delivered!!! They give me around 10 shaves each. Two thousand shaves for six hundred pennies is tough to beat

Last I noticed, I could find GSB blades for $13/100 on the 'bay.
THAT is my "limit" in my mind of a cheap blade.
Gillette Nacet for me. It's super sharp and smooth, very comfortable blade.
Do you have variably hard whiskers? ;-)
My recommendation is a Vi-John super platinum at $8 for 100. Really a great blade with my Lupo OC/SB combo razor.
900 Shark SS for 21,5 euro...Great blades almost free.

Think I got my astra platinums for around $6 delivered while back probably the best quality for cheap. Indian gillette 7 o' clock Permasharps I got really cheap shipped from india for $6 for 100 probably 2 years ago about, they are good. I do like lord cool, but they around 8-10.
Any time I look at Gillette cart prices, I realize what a bargain any of my DE options represents!
