You Guys Owe Me $35.00

Reading this forum gave me a bug. I got the itch and had to buy a new fountain pen... my very first fountain pen. I bought a new Parker GT, a bottle of Noodlers Red-Black, and a bottle of Noodlers Black. I got it all in today... already did some writing with it and I LOVE it! How did I live so long without a fountain pen??? LOL

Oh yeah, I bought a Parker converter for it to. So you owe me an extra $10. You can pay me in form of other fountain pen goodies.

By the sound of it, we have paid you with a reason to get a nice pen. When was the last time you typed a message where you stated, "already did some writing with it and I LOVE it!" ?

You're right! It really is nice. I already told my wife that I wouldn't be too disappointed it a Lamy Safari showed up on Christmas morning. lol

I think the OP is confused. We are all acquisition consultants. We'll send you our bill, Zeke.

Enjoy the new pen and ink! You need some decent Rhodia or Franklin-Christoph paper now.

Thanks, guys. LOL

I was doing some further reading on here and decided I might need to try a Pilot 78g, so I ordered a green one for me and a red one for the wife for Christmas... "so it begins." LOL

Off now to check out that Rhodia and Franklin-Christoph paper.

Another newb here...just had to say that you have a beautiful pen. I may have to look at picking up one of those.

Just wait until you try that first vintage semi-flex or italic nib, then you'll be spending all your money on tools, parts pens, buffing, cleaners, etc.

That sentence somehow made my heart beat a little faster. LOL

Can't wait! This is the first "collection/hobby" that has sparked an interest in me in quite awhile. And yea, I ordered the Franklin-Christoph paper. haha

hahaha nice!!! ya i came for the shaving, landed in the brown leaf, somehow managed a stewardship in the hab, and found a rabbit hole in the nib.

btw, if you want to try something just cool, but isnt as easy as using a converter but is exponentially more awesome, vintage pens with different filling mechanisms.

o yea there's also the TWSBI's 580's and Vac's that hold a ton of ink and have cool filling mechanisms. The demonstrators will grow on you I promise.
