Yet another brush help request

Hello to all,
I am thinking of going Badger, but I have some considerations.

First, don't think me too cheap, but I do charity work and I can't justify spending much on a shaving brush when I struggle to feed hungry children. The lower cost of DE shaving was one reason I came back to it. However I found out I have an Amazon gift certificate on the way as a late Christmas present and there is the Valentine thing you can't expect to stop. I have read a little about the ebay low, low price badger brushes some have bought (but I really didn't get enough info to order one) I just thought I might be able to get something decent at a low, low price. I know I am not in the shaving excellence category that many of you are with your tools, but I thought I might be able to take a small step up the ladder.

Here is my info. I use the VDH standard boar brush with VDH soap. I am looking for something a little more gentle on my face. I don't want a flopper, but something that will hold shape (symmetry) and the hairs at the tip be a tad more gentle and foam producing than the boar.
No wood handles please.
No green handles please.
No overly wide fanning brushes.
Something that hourglasses a little in the handle so it fits my stand and hand.
Black, blue and white would all fit in with SWMBO bath accents, others might too, maybe a two tone, green is out though.
I have seen the ebay resin handle brushes for as little as $8.95 with less than $4 shipping. They look nice but are they worth taking home?

Be gentle, I know there are some strong opinions around here.
I know this is a tough request, but the group is up to it!
thanks!

Shavemac brushes are a delight. But, anything will likely beat the VDH brush. I started with one and trimmed it to shape, since it came lopsided.

If you're interested in an Omega, I sent you a PM. It's pictured next to a Rooney 3/1. Handle is about 1 3/4" - total height about 3 3/4".
