If you own this style of Yello-Bole Airograte pipe there is something you should check on it.
On the metal stem, just below where the bowl screws on, on both sides, there are two very small holes that go all the way through to the inside just below the "grate".
You can't see them in the photo above but they are there. They may look like small black spots as they might be blocked with tar.
These holes allow cooler outside air to mix with the smoke and make it cooler.
I got one of these pipes a few weeks back but didn't realize the holes where there until today( I need new glasses).
I was able to clear the holes with a safety pin and had a smoke with it. These pipes smoke cool because of the metal stem alone but when I cleared out holes the smoke was at least twice as cool and never got the least bit warm.
GREAT PIPE!!! Cooler than my Falcon and Viking.
So if you have one or want to get one, check the holes.
