Yes that's right I gave it a haircut, well it started of as a brand new brush first use was Mondays shave. That's when I knew it was not for me dont get me wrong, I love the handle but the knot way to soft so it had to go.

That is when I cut the hairs off and drilled the knot out...

This is how it looked before I started.

Now time to put a better knot in I went with a 2 band Finest Badger bulb knot.



Looking better just got to wait for it to cure and wash it then try, looking forward to morning i will let you know how it went...

Thank you Andrew!!! They are very nice Handles just a pity that it was to soft, & I'm well happy with the results on the shave this morning.

The brush has now bloomed and boy does it look nice.

That’s a cool looking handle. Nice job on the mod, one would never know that’s not the original knot.
