Yaaaayyyy! FINALLY! [PIC]

I've been waiting for this to hit North America! Tomorrow's shave is going to rock! Love the smell of this stuff~!

I've come to realize that I'm a soap kind of guy. I have my fingers crossed that they make Blue in a tub soon. Then I'll buy the entire reformulated line in tubs (with matching aftershaves) in one fell swoop!

Rob, I think as long as the scent is agreeable you will enjoy your shave. Proraso tubs create a great lather. The hardest part is the first 18 or so shaves where you need to take an almond-sized amount out of the tub and use a bowl to lather it (from the factory the sides are flush with the soap level so lathering in the tub is impossible for about 18 or so shaves).

Enjoy the shaves! I use the green tub but have been told that the red and white tubes perform just as well.

Aha, the Red is out in a soap tub - I've been waiting for that, thanks!

OK, anyone know of a seller in the UK?

not the uk but close: shaving.ie and barbieredifigaro.nl

I don't see it at shaving.ie.

And as for barbieredifigaro.nl, even though I select English, everything is still in Dutch when I try to browse the soap page (though I can see the Proraso red there).

Sorry to bring this back a month later - but I found your comment interesting.

I have been using the white tube (sensitive skin - I'm allergic to darn near everything so i figured I would start there). While I have been able to load my brush and face lather to the point I am able to shave irritation-free, I have never gotten the level of lather I have seen on pics on this site.

If I have read you comments above correctly - it sounds like the Proraso should be almost treated like a cream (assuming I have read other posts correctly) in terms of the amount of soap used?

Or have I completely missed the mark here?

GG

Please forgive me for butting in on your question directed at mharris127.
This is one way you can lather Proraso. Being that the tub is filled to the brim it makes it difficult to produce a lather in the tub. The advantage of it being a Cro-op is you can treat it like a cream. So I have in the past taken a bit out and went to town with it using various brushes anywhere from my Parker, Semogue, Silvertips and floppy nad va very hot brush to help break down the croap. It take a bit of practice to get the lather right but it's possible. But try to instead Load, load & load some more!
