So I finally decided to get a Filson large briefcase. This is all your fault!! I cannot recommend the bag more. It is incredible! It is going to replace my Tumi. I'll see how my colleagues react when I bring it to work tomorrow for the first time. The dress code is somewhat conservative.

I had a ballistic nylon phase but I really prefer natural materials: the way they feel and how they wear.

My only complaint is that the inside compartments are oddly shaped. Not a big deal, I don't really use them.

Sweet! Nicely done. I have used the exact bag in tan for the last 15+ years in a conservative work environment. I figure you carry what you like, look others in the eye, be respectful and professional....and you can carry whatever you like!

I might have to agree, if your dress is too far afield from the unofficial uniform, you are looked at with suspicion.
