I have a line on a open comb razor in a metal case that has these two patient numbers on it; 400,621 & 430,030, one on the handle and the other under the head. It is gold colored. Is it still a #15? I'm not a big fan of gold razors but also not totally against them either especially if it means picking up a British Aristocrat at a good price.
I checked the number chart and it appears it should be but if it's gold it's more like a '34. The '34 part also has me confused because the table does not have a British Aristocrat manufactured in 1934.
Last question, I realize condition plays a major role but what is a fair price for a #15?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
