Would I like AV musk?

I've never tried a musk before but I really have an interest in them lately. To start off, I like most of the classic dollar store AS's but I don't really care for Pinaud Clubman or Special Reserve.

Does AV musk smell the same in the bottle as it does on the skin? I've sniffed it once in the stores and I can't say I really liked it, though that was a while ago and my tastes have grown. To much of a animalic smell to it. I've heard so much about this one lately and I wanna know more about it.

+1 AV products are great. Well worth the modest price indeed.

Whether or not you like a scent is a very personal thing. I think a/v musk is a nice smell, but it had to grow on me a bit. It definitely has an old school scent and it's slightly sweet. Good staying power too. Not that big an investment' why not give it a whirl?
