The problem with these razors is the quality of the steel, the edges fail before they get shaving sharp!

What is passivation? A fancy word for stropping?

That's where I got my microscope for my iPhone - cool bit of kit but haven't had the time to really practice with it. Still it works!

well... in a word...... yes.....

those are big ole hunks of poopy.... i had a local here give me one of those to hone for him.... i ended up sharpening it like a pocket knife and told him not to cut himself....

Excellent! Thanks for the advice. They're kind of nice looking, but I suspected that was all. I'm glad I checked with those in the know before I wasted any money...
