This soapbar is mainly for the whole body. The interesting thing is that the foam/lather is superb!!! Like you are rubbing shaving cream all over your body! I even heard that it can be used as shaving soap. Has anyone tried it yet?

There is a review here on the soap. I think on the manufacturer's website it used to be listed that it could be used as a shaving soap, but since they now have dedicated shaving products they've removed it.
I certainly did!
My first product of Woody's was their ASB which is excellent by the way.
Now I'm using their hairgel, shampoo and soap as well.
The M&PB is not a milled soap so it will not last like the soaps of Porto Claus for example.
We have all 19 soaps of Porto Claus, but I really think the M&PB is even a better treat for your skin.
As a shaving soap, the M&PB provides a kind of lather like Tabac.
It was besides Tabac and P.160 my only soap for a long time till the SSAD kicked in. I own now +20 soaps and I'm resisting to buy any more and lately I'm using MWF the most (for now and this can change with the fase of the moon or any other variable).
It provides lots of creamy lather with a great cushion.
But that is also their flaw a bit. While it gives me the most comfortable shave (and yes, MORE comfortable than ANY OTHER soap out there), it doesn't give me the closest shave.
But this is easily compensated by the moisturizing capabilities.
Yes, here comes another bold statement, I think this soap has the BEST moisturizing capabilities then ANY OTHER soap out there.
Even MWF doesn't come close.
I don't use anything after the shave. No AS nor ASB, just plain cold water to rinse.
My advise: just try it. If you don't like it as a shaving soap, you can still use it as bath soap.

The wife picked me up a bar at Ulta cosmetics a while back. I'm not sure if they're national or though. Great bath soap, never tried shaving with it. Maybe next time.
