Won This

Humm...unused, perhaps, but I don't think it is in the right case. It looks like the razor is longer than the case. :confused1:confused1
I think that's just how he's got it resting to show the razor (fuzzy pic, why did he bother to pose it?). If you slide it left (might need to turn it over also), I think it fits. I've got a similar case for one of my Micromatics.

I am fairly certain it is an open-comb.

I think so too.

ooh purty!!! i have a gold one... anyone know what sort of age these are?
EDIT: did a bit of gravedigging and these were made from ~1925-1935 :w00t:

I just got it in today and its better then expected. It appears to have never been used. I gave it a scrubbing bubbles treatment as well as the plastic case. Does it shine. The blades were never opened so I opened a wrapper. Its as thin as a double edge blade and can be reversed. The wrapper says for Micromatic razors only. One other thing yes its an open comb just like some guys suspected.

I will take pictures over the weekend as I am heading out for Christmas.
Happy holidays to all and to all a good night:thumbup:

Man that's a nice set I got one like it but with out the razor holder. I've shaved with it a couple of times and a very nice shaver. The OC micromatic is a cutting machine Its my O! gosh I haven't shaved in four day razor.

That's a real nice score. But it's one mean puppy, the most aggressive razor I own. I don't think I'd use the old blades though. But I do find the new Gem blades are pretty good, in a 1912 that is.

After seeing you post and needing to have a shave I gave it another try and this time didn't even get a nick. This also is the most aggressive razor I have and the third time to shave with it. You got to take your time with this bad boy but get some Gems for better results and less pain.
