Anniversary suprise indeed. I received my first EJ DE89 today last year and today received the news I have unexpectedly won 2 new Yaqi brush by naming them...

After 1 day of disinfecting and getting rid of funky smell from the 2 band badger...before..

After 1 day...the 2 band badger bloomed nicely..

Both perform very well...
The Synthetic was soft and have good backbone for face and bowl lather. Can splay easily. Definitely is the best to make tons of lather..
The 2 band Badger only shedded 1 hair so far. The funky smell was gone after 1 day treatment and provided a plush soft feel on the face. The handle is terrific and comfortable on the hand. Overall both are great brush.
