Women's soap use

Here in Chile, canned goo is pretty expensive in general and the stuff scented for women is hard to find and extremely expensive. We think that most women wax rather than shave.

I have suggested that my wife start using the soap that she just bought me until we can get her her own. She's worried about using all of my soap up too rapidly.

My question is:
How long does a 100g cake of soap last for women?

It depends on the soap.

If youre talking about really hard soaps like Tabac, C&E or MWF then theyll last for years, if youre using glycerine soaps they will be used up quicker, but not that fast.

I suppose on average a puck should last many months with daily use.

I doubt they would last years, I think a woman tends to use up a lot more than we do to shave our faces.. But my wife has started using williams recently.. She's gotten well over a month on one of those pucks, probably about 2 months, and they are very small. Usage about several times a week.

Good point. I should have specified:
She bought me two cakes of Cade, which is what we will have until December-ish when we go back to the US.

My dad said that he's going to bring a cake of Williams when he and my mom come to visit in a couple of weeks.

I figured that when we could, we'd buy some other triple-milled soap for her. And me.

two pucks of cade should almost last you until NEXT december, you'll be fine

I know my female friends go through cans of shaving cream real fast. I'm not sure how that translates to hard soap though.

but not 3 passes on the legs, so you can X3 the area of the face. Either way - those hard soaps (and cade is pretty hard) will last quite some time

Thanks for the replies.

We did a back of the envelope calculation and decided that shaving a face 5 or 6 times a week is approximately equivalent to half the area of shaving legs once a week.

I have been shaving every other day, so that just adds to the longevity.
