What's new

Women are more attracted to men who shave regularly...

My wife travels for work so I'm lucky about not needing to shave everyday. When she is home she always catches me off guard saying "you need to shave. You're all scratchy."

I can't speak for the results of the study, but I can tell you that my wife definitely prefers my face to be cleanly shaved.

It seems to me that over the past year and a half or so I am seeing a lot more guys with the cultivated scruffy look; it's like the Miami Vice years have come around again. (Fashion stuff does tend to recycle.) I hated the 3-day scruff look then, and I hate it now. My wife definitely hates it.

Yep. Everyday shaver here.:thumbup1:

My wife digs the bbs face as well. Soi guess she is one vote toward confirming the study! She likes the stubbly look, but I get more smoochin' with a smooth face.

My experience has been that the single greatest factor women are attracted to is confidence. It's more important to feel attractive than to look a particular way.

As far as stubble goes, I've met women who hated it and had to have a smooth shaven face (which is kinda my default), but I've also met women who went crazy for a little bit of stubble. One girl I would deliberately shave the day BEFORE a date with her and not the day of so my cheeks would be nice and sandpapery. Truthfully though, by the time they FEEL your cheeks, the battle is mostly over.

In short: Do what you need to in order to feel more attractive, because that's what really attracts women.

Coming from a razor company, I wouldn’t consider this an unbiased study.:glare:
I had a mustache when I got married. It didn’t last long.

I know my wife is more attracted to me when I'm freshly shaved.

There you've hit the nail on the head. Women are individuals. Go with whatever makes your wife/girlfriend/mistress/harem happy. Alternately you could just go with whatever makes YOU happy. ;)

On Saturdays, when I'm getting ready to start my day, my wife will declare "No shaving!"

That's my personal study, right there.

I think my wife prefers the look of stubble but the feel of clean shaven. My 4 month old daughter definitely prefers me to shave as she has started crying some times when scratching her face against my stubble :biggrin1:
