Chan Eil Whiskers
Fumbling about.
I got on the list this time on June 5th.
Thanks for that information.
Which probably means I'll come up in about three weeks.
I wish Wolfman would mark the baseplate with the gap.
Agreed.
Happy shaves,
Jim

Same. This is the only reason why I will only buy different gaps on a plate if it is a DC plate (SB/OC). Looking for the top of the “W” on the bottom of the plate to determine to larger gap isn’t the best solution IMO.Me too!
I really hope it's a GEM razor. That will save me $400.If I was buying new I wouldn't have bought the gauge. I borrowed a Wolfman before and the owner had no idea what the gap was! Rumours have suggested a new blade format, GEM style but nobody really knows.
I got on the list this time on June 5th. I will now have a WR2 SB .95 WRH1, WR2 SB 1.05 WRH2, and a WR2 SB 1.15 Darwin. I was going to order a WR2 1.25 WRH7 later this month. But it looks like I will have to wait until November. I love these razors but I do have one complaint. They do not indicate the blade gap on the baseplate. Timeless and RazoRock put the blade gap on the baseplate. Karve puts a letter on the baseplate. The letter indicates the gap. I wish Wolfman would mark the baseplate with the gap.
I am sure it would cost a lot less than buying six WR2 razors.I’d love a WR2 adjustable but Lord only knows what that would cost, if ever developed!
True!I am sure it would cost a lot less than buying six WR2 razors.
Thanks, I signed up in May, so I'll email and ask about that. Although, I probably won't proceed with an order now but would like to be postponed and get an order in when I'm ready, and when the menu options are available.
It’s not over yet. 1.5 hours to go.Anybody know how much that auctioned copper at Wolfman went for last night? There was a thread on it, but I can't find it today. Last I saw it was at $1800.
Crazy as the brass/copper auction went for as little as $550
Fortunately I don’t like DCs
