The witch hazel is a pretty significant ingredient, just looking at the list. Bear in mind, the ingredients are listed in order by highest concentration. Alcohol and water are not really healing ingredients, so what comes next in the list?
I don't the the Speick people put it in there for no good reason.
It's totally optional to use witch hazel on its own. No one is forcing it on anyone else.
Which of the Thayer's, w/o alcohol or w/alcohol, etc.?Has anyone experimenting with using just the generic version of witch hazel for several months and compared to thayers witch hazel. I do feel like my skin is clearer if I use the thayers.

I switched to Dickinson's Original WH and have been using it for a few months. It has the same ingredients as the generic (WH extract and 14% alcohol). I haven't noticed much difference in my skin compared with Thayer's Original w/aloe, but everyone's a little different.I prefer medicated
