Witch Hazel Mixed With AS??

After hearing all the good things about Witch Hazel on this forum I decided to by a bottle and give it a try. I put it on after I shaved and it was a cooling effect without a doubt. I then applied my Ivory Club AS as normal.
I was wondering if it would be a good idea to mix AS and WH and decant them together? I already decant my Ivory Club in a Shulton Old Spice bottle so adding the WH would be no trouble.
Question is would this have an adverse effect on either of them to do this?

I found a little sample bottle of Gillette Cool Wave Aftershave Splash a couple of weeks ago and tried it out one morning. My wife smelled it in the other room within 15 seconds of my applying it. It was pretty strong.

I have since mixed it 50/50 with witch hazel in a separate sample bottle. It has almost diminished the scent too much, so my advice would be to dilute with some caution, if you want to preserve the scent of the aftershave.
