Windex as aftershave ?

I can't imagine that being good for your skin and would probably burn like hell. I get a rash from the stuff just having on my hands.

Wikipedia to the rescue, ingredients in Windex:

• Isopropanol
• 2-Butoxyethanol
• Ethylene glycol n-hexyl ether
• Water
• Ammonia

Isopropanol - Used as a solvent and reagent. This type of alcohol is used in ink and other products
There is a detailed ingredient list from the manufacturer for all formulas.

None of this (except water) is good for your skin. Isopropanol (rubbing alcohol) is also passable, but at least drying and irritating.

There are some good quality aftershaves that cost next to nothing, why would you even think of trying this endeavor?

AV is pretty cheap stuff that works well.
