It used to be St. Pats and New Years when I was younger.

Then, when I started working for the railroad, it became Presidents' Day because it was a surprise day off (rarely celebrated).

Now, I think it is Halloween because my little girl loves it so much.

Presents like a birthday.

Thanksgiving! There's a great OTR episode of Father Knows Best where Kathy wins the 4th grade essay contest about Thanksgiving (not being like any other holiday because she gets to eat a turkey drumstick) and the family ends-up celebrating together after all!
