Why Southerners Love Pepper Jelly ;-)

This is one of my favorite burger toppings. Goat cheese or cheddar pair really well with it as well!

Oh my, chow chow. Didn't see that all of our years in AZ. They have a great selection of chow chow in the stores here in NC.

A friend just gifted me three jars of homemade chow chow. My mom use to make pepper jelly. All I remember is that it was green and was poured over cream cheese.

My Grandmother used to make it. She would serve it with cheese and crackers, though none of us are from the south. She would also have me brush it on grilled chicken as a finishing glaze....delicious. Miss those days.
