Why after shave splashes feel so dry?

I have proraso green and pinaud clubman original if seems like I haveto use a lot because it dries quickly is this normal? How much should I be using?

The dryness is due to the alcohol. For me, the Pinaud Clubman splash works great after a shave, but I always follow it up with a moisturizing balm.

Your face isn't supposed to be dripping with aftershave splash. Put a little on your hands and pat your face with it.

As mentioned, alcohol AS is supposed to do this. If you don't love that feeling, supplement/replace with a balm.
