I picked up a vintage Clauss blade marked USMC straight (I have a tang marked enroute) and am looking for recommendations to have them restored, as that is far outside of my wheelhouse at this point, and the last thing I want to do is damage them.
This one (blade marked) is from the Spanish-American War era, and the tang stamped is from WWI, according to what I have found in research here
I am posting pics of the one I have which is the worst condition of the two. When I get the other one, I'll add pics of it to get a consensus of the possibility of having it restored. It appears from the pics that its in much better condition than this one.
