More to follow, but I am really tempted to do that very thing.

I don't know that I did, but I'm almost certain I did; as I paid what the Pawnbrokers asked. On the other hand, it was an NRA Engraved "Women of the NRA" series 442 with deepest dark bluing. That and, it was a gift for my significant other. Funny thing, I think it closed the deal. /grin

Altamont Super Rosewood laminate.
Have similar sets on my 629 .44 Magnum and 442 .38.
They fit very well and are quite durable.
