Who got the Reaper/

I was interested myself...at one point it was up to $505. Then it sells for $270. So I can't help but suspect shenanigans. Is it possible that someone used a dummy account to scare off the competition by bidding to a price he had no intention of paying. Then places the next highest bid with a second, legit account?

it could be that the highest bidder withdrew offer and people missed on the item not knowing the old 505 bid was not there anymore.

Shenanigans!

If I were you guys I'd be PM'ing the seller suggesting that his high bidder may have done something less than legit. It seems highly suspicious to me.

Yeah, that was odd. I was watching it and the price was up to $505. When I checked later to see the final selling price it was listed as $270. I'm not sure what happened but certainly seems suspicious.

I saw that. If I were bidding on the razor and my bids were over $270, the seller would have some serious splaining to do...

yep, check the bid history, bidder p***s had a retracted bid of 505 for the entered wrong amount reason, however they did not enter any other bid....

I smell a shill

What it took for him to realize his mistake was the appearance of another Reaper with the original leather sheath!!

Interestingly enough, Ebay's software should have blocked his retraction, as it was <12hrs before auction ended on a >12hr old bid. (4 days old, 45mins before end). No idea how he got it through.

it can be done by the seller upon request.
Imo the seller used a fake account to try and set up the price but failed to get higher bids.
