whipping up a lather without a brush

I just recently received my sample pack of : speick, tabac, musgo, proraso, godrej lime, and tobs avocado. This is my first time using these traditional creams.

If you do build up a lather, with your fingers, how do you do it?

Should there be a lather? or should the cream go on slick?

I've used Zirh clear gel in the past and it does not lather at all. Thanks.

Make sure your face is wet. Put just a little bit of cream in your hands. Rub them together briefly, then rub them on your face. Continue to massage the creams into your face for at least 30 seconds, preferably one minute. If the lather seems really thick, add a few drops of water to your hand and then work it into the face.

Then shave.


Should work OK.


Then, buy an Omega boar brush for less than 20 bucks and go to town!

Any brush is better than no brush. Go to Wally World a brush should be about $5. The luxury of a good lather is worth the effort and the cost of the brush.
