I got the 24mm silvertip set at 50-52mm (didn't measure it personally). Love it.

i have a 24mm at 50 I would personally not go more than 50 as I think it would become floppy.

I decided to go with 24mm with a 50mm loft. Will post pictures after i get it in from Whipped Dog. Thanks everyone.

Either 20/45 or 20/50. Depends if you are a face latherer or a bowl latherer !

For comparison (both WD wet. Specs of FS incorrect: should be 23/52)


The FS is a tad floppy but it releases lather better. Best specs:24/50

I bought a Whipped Dog at listed loft of 65. It IS floppy. I love the brush, and will buy another but definitely at a shorter loft.

I just got my brush. Is it suppose to loose like 20 hairs? I washed it, test lathered it and shaved it once and it lost alot of hairs in the process.

Brushes usually loose a few hairs when you first get them because they were loose to begin with. Try lathering again with it. If it loses another 20 hairs, then I'd contact the seller.
