Hey Guys,
I just got my black badger brush from WD and I've done the initial curing to get the badger funk out of the hairs. I was playing around with it and it was very prickly (is this scritch?) against my bare cheek. The WD silvertip I have wasn't as prickly, when I use it to lather my face I can barely even feel the bristles. In contrast, I have a Omega 48 boar which is broken in but is very stiff compared to the black badger brush.
I could have sworn I read on here that over time the black badger softens and becomes less prickly. Is this true and how long should this take?
I love my WD silvertip, but its a shedder and I lose about 10-15 hairs a day when I lather with it. So far I did one lather with the WD black badger and I lost a ton of hairs as well, but they were small and skinny so i'll give it a few days and hopefully it holds together better.
Thanks.
