Which vintage Gillette DE is the best and rarest of those???

That looks like a 109. The doors closing I would not worry too much about. It may help once you clean the razor and oil it. As long as the blade is securely locked down, and the gap between the guards and the blade edge is even, you should be fine.

Just regular washing-up liquid is OK. Use hot water like you are washing dishes. Let the razor soak for awhile, then scrub with an old toothbrush. There are some good threads on B&B that go into details about the cleanup process.

When i look at it it seems that one side is bigger then the other one

I’m gonna put a blade in it and post pics of it

With blade. Seems that one side is higher (bigger gape) then the other one (smaller gabe). Maybe that’s how it’s supposed to be idk i never owned a DE so idk

Hello, the doors should open smoothly, this “pop” is caused by something interfering with the doors. It’s most likely the bent safety bar.
The handle is anodised aluminum, not as durable as brass, so I’d bend the bar back, before this unwanted tension wears out the handle.

The “lower” side is bent, the “higher” looks ok.

Is are a video or something? Because i have no idea how to that

I'm kinda tired of writing :"there's no best", so I am going to start answering these questions with what I think is best:

Slim and Tech are the best from that list, in that order. What's the best Gillette razor? Super Adjustable 83mm (short handle). There. :)

I have a lot of razors, different brands etc. The best for me continues to be the Super 84.

Return the razor. You’ve discovered the risk of buying 50–year old, pre-owner razors. They are not all in usable condition. Just buy a Merkur 34c, like many people starting out in DE shaving do. Then, go from there. That’s the high percentage (smart money) play for a newbie.

Here is a pic of the razor next to a pack of Astra blades, maybe that would help to know if it’s a 84 or 109

It’s a 109.
A piece of A4 sized paper is 210 mm wide and 297 mm tall. Fold into two, you get 105x297 mm. Now compare it to the length of the razor. The 84 is 94 mm long, the 109 is 110 mm.
Or, a standard bank/credit card is ~86 mm long, if your handle is noticeably longer, it’s a 109.

Yeah i tried it with a credit card the handle is a bit bigger then the credit card so it’s a 109 then. Happy i got the 109 one this one already feels small the 84 would have been way to small for me. I’m wondering what size the other razors are then? Is the 109 the biggest razor size or the normal size of DE razors?

I have washed the razor with dishsoap and warm water, it doesn’t make as much noise when i close it maybe washing it multiple times would fixed the noise?

Now just need to fix the uneven gabs, but i have no idea how to do that. Or maybe i should send it to RazorEmporium or RazorPlate and let them fix it and maybe revamp it in rhodium aswell idk?

“Noise” can mean it’s clean or it has dried out mineral depoits. Water and soap act as a lubricant, it will be squeaky again once dry, but it’s normal.
Check the final turn of the knob (turn it till you feel a bit of resistance, then you will have a final 1/8-1/2 turn), if it’s stiff or not present, the razor most likely has deposits, if it’s smooth, it’s clean.
Or you can completely disassemble the razor, but I can’t recommend that.

For the bent bar, grab something flat (knife, screwdriver), fitting into the drain holes. Set the dial to 1 and fully open the razor. Insert tool under the bar and bend the bar up in left-right corners and center too. Be gentle, don’t use too much force, check blade gap and wether the bar is straight.

Just did it with a butter knife. It slightly better now look kinda more even now still not perfect, but i think i’m gonna leave it that way don’t won’t to end up breaking it. The doors close way better then before they close smoothly now, the half turn worked perfectly fine before and now aswell. Thanks for the knife guide

I think the best of the old ones is a NEW SC with an added ball-end handle. I have no use for any of the TTO razors anymore, except maybe the red tip. They just don't cut it (no pun intended) 😂 The tech is a great razor too. I prefer the post war version. More rigid.

I did it with 2 Slims and it came out perfect for both. The trick is to take it very very slow and nudge. After 10 slight nudges, I’d reassess. Took me about 20 minutes per razor. If you go too fast, it will take on a ribbon appearance. It is tempting to bend it up or down depending all at once

Put tape on your butter knife also, protects the plating.

Did not have to do this with any of my other vintages. I think people liked to drop Slims back in the day.

If you ever come across a Super 84, try it. It changed my views on the subject. I always got very good shaves with TTOs but had better quality shaves from other razors until I shaved with the Super 84.

I have the long handled version but haven't used it.

I have 2 Super 109s NOS (Brass baseplates) in boxes for my boys that I can’t use. I never tried a 109, but if the gaps are the same per setting I’d think it would be the same. The handle is aluminum so I don’t think there would be much of a weight difference.
