Which type of razor do you use most?

Which type of razor do you use most, a double edge, a single edge, or a straight razor?
I use a single edge the most but it's almost 50/50 with a double edge. A slight edge goes to the SE.

DE mostly, but quickly moving to a straight. On weekends and days off, it’s a straight.

I've tried injectors, but have never noticed any better shaves than with DE. Plus the blades are cheaper.

I prefer an open comb DE razor, but I am quickly leaning towards my straight. It shaves exceptionally well.

I use DEs more. I never got the hang of SEs, and haven't tried Straights yet.

DE is "home" for me with shaving.

I do enjoy tinkering around with straight, shavette, and hollow ground single edge razors, but double edge safety razors will always be my primary shaving method. Specifically, mild to moderate closed comb razors. No interest here in other types of disposable blade.

I shave mostly with a DE razor...yet...I willingly (albeit occasionally) give in to the call of a shavette (most recently a Weck!!) and a straight (GD66). That said, I'm having a blast shaving with the vintage DE razors in my (slowly growing) collection!! It may be "just a razor" to some, but I'm psyched about acquiring and shaving with my birth year/quarter razor!!

Vintage razors have a unique feeling about them. I'm always inspired by my Gillette NEW when I use it.

Yes!! And what's amazing is when you hold the Gillette NEW (I've got a NEW LC) up to several modern razors, the profile is very similar!! Gillette and Rotbart hit the sweet spot with the razor head shape and it's stood the test of time!!

Double edged razors. I intend to try the others in the future after I've gotten more versed with double edged ones.

Why just the best DE ever made: the Gillette Tech!! On a several days growth I use an old Schick injector.

I use both DE & SE modern & Vintage razors and lately I have been using the GEM SE razor and that system is great and a bit of a learning curve but it's worth every bit of effort for the great shaves their system gives. A Schick E2 injector razor provides a wonderful shave also for folks who want to use vintage razors.

I've been using my single edge razors for the past six months. Mainly my injectors. I find they handle my jawline, and neck with ease. I shave daily and rarely suffer any irritation.

I seem to be in the minority with SE, though I wonder if the number of SE users is increasing?

I'm being lured back to DE by recent acquisitions of Gillete Old Type and NEW LC... But I intend to use my SE GEMs, ERs and SE1 whatever happens.
