These come up fairly often at auction. The one depicted is one of several travel set designs but full size cased ones are available too. Hoffritz slants are very comfortable and efficient and were made in the 1930's. They are worth a try and aren't too expensive. Several are available now for less than $50. View attachment 1562219

What a time to be alive

If I were to ONLY have any of my favorite slants and no other razor I would be happy and not wish for more.

The WB, Fine Slant, Fine Super Lite, LoStorto Originale or Gentile….any would be great.

Here we are though with choices galore and looking for micro-nuances of performance

The jury is still out on the new SS for me but choices in products is a wonderful thing.
