Good morning, as nobody knows which Waterman model was hiding under the first pen let us see if someone can help me with this one.
It is an eye fropper.
The cork seals seem to be in order as empirically I blew from the nib, retracted, no air leaks from the twisting end.
I filled it with water and let it stand on the twisty bit for a day in a glass, no water found in the glass.
Nib moves beautifully in and out, not getting stuck anywhere in the out and in movements.
The nib has the following inscription: ERIDANEA 585 %
On the outside of the un-grooved part of the cap there is WATERMAN'S 18 KR and then some type of seal
I believe the pen was given the gold cover by a jeweler in Italy, but I may be wrong. This per was given to me by a family member ages ago as well.
I dipped the nb in a bottle of ink and it writes very nicely, smooth and fine tip.
