CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion in lieu of any after shave lotion or balm.

I also use a CeraVe Moisturizing Bar as a pre-shave.

How does the bar perform as a pre shave?

It seems to help a bit, but not by any spectacular margin. Now I mostly use it out of habit as it does cleanse without drying my skin.

You will notice a nice post shave finish to your shave IMO(not oily when dried down like some balms). It lasts a long time also & does not interfere with aftershave scents because its Scentless or neutral.

i rate the cien lidl brand day and night cream very highly, in fact its similar ingredients to the cerave too

You can buy it on Amazon but I buy it locally here in Montana. It's made not far from me.
