Which knot??

Ok so I got this handle coming, and it’s ready for a 24mm knot.

I already have a handle I put a maggard tux 22mm/52loft, which I thought was just about perfect, till I got my 26mm/51loft flattop/fan hybridsilk smoke from AP.BDF9D8D7-0D5F-410A-8F40-9F90BF2D4F2E.jpeg379A4D46-6C0A-4F7C-AF57-C4FA44A4B54D.jpeg
Now I think the tuxedo doesn’t have quite enough backbone, or feel quite dense enough, even though it has great flow through. Easy to get the soap on my face.

But I don’t think the silk smoke is perfect either. I feel it has to much backbone and doesn’t splay easy enough and has just a bit too little flow through. I feel like it pushes the soap up in the brush, and I have to squeeze and paint a lot. It does however make the most amazing lather ever.

So, a little less backbone than the SS, a little more dense that the tux but not to much to mess up flow through, but soft and dense feeling at the same time.

Would the tux in a 24 feel more dense and more backbone, or just bigger? Also I’m really open to natural looking synthetic knots for this one for for looks as well.
suggestions?

Sorry I don't have enough experience with synthetic knots to give any advice but that's a nice looking handle. Good luck picking a knot.

Ya great looking handle is it a vintage or reproduction?
I think a lighter colored knot looks better but I’m not sure about mounting and loft. I have a handle I need to set a knot in but haven’t because of some of these issues
