For me, Captains Choice Cat o' Nine Tails. It's the only one I've tried that completely avoids the scent of wet cardboard, to my nose.

I like the VIBR, but I also have some Captain's Choice. I've never tried the CC CO9T, but that leads me to another question..... Which I'll post a new thread for....

Bootlegger's is my favorite. It's a mix of Pinaud VIBR, Master BR, and Superior 70 BR. It's cheap to mix up too.
Behind that, my favorites are Vintage Avon BR, and Captain's Choice BR.

I have both Captains Choice Bay Rum and CO9T. Excellent bay rums both of them. Similar scent, the CO9T burns more.

I would also mention Royall Bay Rum.
It's too bad that Col Conk Bay Rum AS does not smell like the soap. If it did, it (the After shave) would be amazing.

Anyone ever try Gabels? How does it compare to Virgin Islands or Captain's choice??? For what it's worth, personally I think Lucky Tiger is a joke. It's like a watered down weak scented bay rum.
