Which is THE "Heaviest" DE Safety Razor ever made (past or present) ?

Hi all,

I got curious about Razor "weights" today. It all started when I was "gifted" a IKon Bulldog Handle from my Kid brother. Man, I thought the Bulldog IKon handle was quite heavy! It weights in at 2.60 oz. Now, if you add a vintage Gillette "Old Type" 102 Cap & Head/Comb, this combo now weights in at 3.30 oz. which is MORE than either of my two heaviest Razors....The Gillette BIG BOY 3.00 oz. and my (EXCALIBUR) of Razors, the Barbasol Floating Head Razor 3.05 oz. I did a bit of research tonight and turned up (what is said to be one of THE heaviest Razors today) a MERKUR 43C at 5.20 ounces! Whoa! (150 grams)! So, I ask the good folks of B&B, which is THE "heaviest" Razor ?

What does the Rockwell 6s weigh? That thing is an anvil and is my heaviest razor.

Edit i looked it up 118 grams. Not even close to some others.

The heaviest one I own is my Viking Blade Emperor Augustus at 134g.

The heaviest I have is a Model T adjustable. Great razor and shaves wonderfully but it takes getting use to going from a light weight Schick to it.

When I used a Timeless I used a Maggard’s MR8 handle, came out to 202 grams.

Ikon SBS with the same handle was around the same.

Didn’t really notice it until I started using my Blackbird lol
