Thanks for sharing your experience with the Gillette Skinguard! I haven't gave it more then 5 shaves yet on mine, will go back to it at some point to see how far it goes.

I only cleaned it twice from memory. I just used it. No sharpening whatsoever. Everyones experience will be different. Another member here got almost a month out of his SkinGuard. I probably pushed it further than I should have but it is a very good razor.
