I'm putting together a sample pack order from WCS and I've got the field narrowed down to 8 packs. Out of my choices, I'm wondering how these blades stack up based on other B&Ber's opinions. I know YMMV big time when it comes to blades, so this poll is more out of curiosity than anything else. I'm aware what works for you may not work for me. Please pick your favorite, and feel free to comment on any of the blades listed. Love 'em or hate 'em, post up!

Astra Superior Platinum are one of my three go to blades - the others being Iridium Super and the older than 2009 Gillette Platinum.

A lot of interesting blades there. I still can't vote since I think you should try them all except for the Sharps; they are all kinds of things but not that.

When I have to vote it would be the Sharks; not the best blade from Lord but my guess is that the red IP's, Gillettes and Astra will get enough votes without my help.

.

I have to disagree with your comment on Sharps. I get a decent shave out of them...

IMO super iridiums are the best currently produced blades, but as for your poll id have to say gillette 7 oclock sharpedges(yellow box) are the sharpest and smoothest.

Although I've had good shaves with other blades in your list (excepting Sharp), it seems I've had the most consistency with the Astra Superior Platinum.

Of the ones you list, haven't tried Bics or the Gillette 7 O'clock Super Platinum. I have samples, but haven't tried them yet. Of the others, Astras definitely, followed by Sharks. Sharp worst, but still usable.

Oh, I can get a shave out of them, just not that good and that pleasant. But would you not agree that of the blades listed the Sharps are about the least recommendable?

Well, maybe not but I think trying those is a waste of time and money compared to the other blades on that list.

It was tough between the Astras and the yellow 7 o'clocks for me, Personnas coming in close behind.
