The site seems to be down, but classicedge.ca was selling loom strops pretty cheap.

Livi has some that look to be a meter long and for a loom strop he certainly made it himself or someone for him.

Just make sure you slap it on the hones and strop with all your might. That is what works best for a +$1000 razor.

I think it really drives home the fact that the end result is all that matters. If setting a bevel on the sidewalk gives you nice edges who is to criticize?
