Where to find Personna Medical Prep Blades?

There is a thread on here with a couple different places to find them on the net. robbinsinstruments.com is one, and barberdepot.com is another (I think). Do a site search for "medical" and you should find the thread.

This blade is our new favorite! My husband uses them for three shaves, then I get them for my legs for two more!

+1

Also, this should be posted under the Razor Blade section. Maybe a mod will move it.

EMS sells the labratory blades and their website is http://www.emsdiasum.com/microscopy/products/preparation/blades.aspx. Robbins sells the medical lab blades.

I have found both blades FOR SHAVING purposes to be identical. See http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showpost.php?p=2424093&postcount=66

I personally contacted what was then ASR and the simple answer I received was that the medical prep blades were made specifically for hospitals and were made by one division of their company. They underwent an extra cleaning up process that has no impact on shaving. The Lab blades are identical but are manufactured by a different division.

Both a friend and I have tried both and neither of us see any difference. Both are GREAT blades, IMO.

I believe the lab blades can be found on eBay as well. . . tho not advertised as such . . but I'd order from razor blades and more first.
