I was able to find some "natural" soaps and such at my local Wegmans, but was wondering if anyone knew of a store in NJ or even in NYC that sells quality soaps and other similar natural products?

In NYC, of course, there is Pasteur's Pharmacy. I've never been there myself, but it is like Mecca for all things wet-shaving.
You might try a Whole Foods market. They have a good selection of natural and artisnal soaps.
