Where to buy in NJ?

you might want to try little mom & pop pharmacies. but alas new jersey is a barren wasteland (shocking). depending on where you are in NJ you're better off checking out some places in NYC or philly.

We are the "garden state" as well as home to such celebs as Bruce Springsteen, Jack Nicholson, Danny Diveto, and Bon Jovi.

Not a barren wasteland.

Not to mention all of the bigshots who are buried here.

I can't wait to see what (read: who) they find when they dig up Giants Stadium. :001_smile

I don't know of any chain pharmacies that carry feathers in NY, either. I've seen Wilkinsons, the red Gillettes, Personnas, Schicks, and occasionally Derbys and Astras (in Manhattan), but I've never seen Feathers in a brick and mortar around here.

You may have to go interwebs.

Pasteurs on 34th Street in Manhattan carries them for $4.99 per 10 pack.

I don't know of anywhere in Jersey, though.

The "Garden State" should be renamed "Seat of Corruption", of everywhere I have lived this state is probably number 1

Uhhhhhh, considering he was directly answering your question, I think he meant a barren wasteland in terms of shaving supplies. Very Freudian of you though!

Does anyone know where I can buy a pack of feather blades in NJ? Are there any chain pharmacy's that carry them?

I haven't seen Rudy Vey weigh in on your question yet, so I thought I might point you to him. Rudy is a B&B member/vendor - a superb brush maker and restorer who lives in NJ, and if anyone would know an answer to your question, he would. He's also a very nice gentleman, and a pleasure to know. Shoot him a PM and I'm sure he'll have an answer for you (perhaps not one that you want to hear, though...). Good luck.

As far as I know, there aren't any places to pick up any DE blades in central NJ other than the generic CVS or Walmart blades. New York is probably your best bet for finding shaving supplies if you don't want to order online.
