I tried Caswell Massey Almond. It isn’t a traditional lathering cream like TOBS, but you can get a good lather if you use more product. Not the most cost-effective way, but I’m a strict brush shaver, and the 8 oz size makes up for it. Despite this, the product gives some great cushion and glide, and even has a great post-shave feel! I originally thought about returning it, but it performs well. Just needs some getting used to.

How are you digging that soap? Been meaning to check it out but it’s so pricey
I love it. Lately I’ve been using it exclusively and my face feels really good. No excess ingredients, which don’t see necessary, as it is has as much slickness and glide as any soap with code named secret soap base. It’s actually not that expensive. Lots of more expensive soaps out there. I’ve had ten shaves with it and you can’t tell any has ever been used. It will easily outlast any soap I own.
