Tried it again for the last time because I hate getting defeated. This time it worked. And it worked with my hard water (usually use bottled). It’s not as good as my tallows, but it’s acceptably shavable. Which is a bit of a damnit moment for me, because now there’s a citronella scent to it that wasn’t there last time I bought any (or they stayed on the shelf long enough to have aired out to a cheap soapy scent) that I don’t really like. And I might have to go look at how to ratio a scent I like into it.

My only experience with PAA is WCS Gatsby, which I assume is the same formula. It was fantastic.
